It's Alive! -- 12 Calendars!

Success! -- a "live", and beautifully visual "easy-to-see" view of complex information!!   

This is my test calendar, to automatically generate 

a large number of multi-colored "events series" 

(from a prepared file of structured data).

This data involves about 12 combined calendars, 

showing about 150 showtimes, per week

 -- for about 10 unique films.

All was accomplished completely with Google tools, solely -- namely:

• • this Google Site (within this Google App), 

  • a Google Spreadsheet, 

  • 12 Google Calendars, 

  • server-side Javascript (via Google App Script).

The Google Apps Script reads data in a Google Spreadsheet, 

then creates "event series" across 12 separate Google Calendars.

Those 12 Google Calendars were then all combined, 

and embedded within this Google Site, (which you are now viewing)

 -- for this easy visual overview -- showing what happens when!

Lots of learning needed, to make this work, but good fun

 -- delving all these free and powerful data-juggling tools, from Google!
